THE VISION

Drawing on our expertise of apartment style short stay accommodation together with our many years of operating in the South Auckland corridor we have conceived a new building to serve the diverse requirements of our guests and stakeholders.

Associated with the adjoining Motel at 540 Great South Rd this new building will set new standards for serviced accommodation in South Auckland.

THE PROJECT

An iconic design by architects Ashton Mitchell will create a dramatic building at a key intersection on Auckland’s busy Great South Road.

Many innovative design elements are planned for this building including multiple dual and triple key units. Many elements within the fitout such as beds, wardrobes and desks will be modular allowing for spaces to be quickly configured to meet the varied requirements of the occupiers.

All rooms are self-contained with kitchens and large bathrooms, often with separate baths. Many units have decks. The entire building will be air-conditioned and sprinklered with numerous energy saving innovations installed and used in the construction.

Multiple disabled suites have been planned throughout the building.

Custom designed furniture will be sourced direct from our existing supply chain in Asia and China.

THE RESULT

This asset will be a long term investment for the corporation and on completion in 2021 this property will set new standards of accommodation – both for the Southern Auckland corridor but for the broader Auckland serviced accommodation market.
